‘Namal will become a global center of excellence.’ This is how Mr. Dalawar Majid Chaudhry reflected on his visit to the institute. He has been associated with Namal since its inception in 2008 and with Mr. Imran Khan’s causes, particularly Shaukat Khanum Hospital, for the last two decades. He has continuously advocated for higher education and has sponsored a number of fundraising events for both the institutes. It has become a family tradition that started with his father and one ‘which will continue for generations ahead.’
During his visit to Namal Institute, Mr. Dalawar presented a very special book titled ‘The Unknown Fallen’ which was developed and published by Mr. Dalawar himself. The book documents the largely unknown contributions of Muslim soldiers during the First World War.
