History of Sustained Academic Excellence

The Namal's vision was conceived by Mr. Imran Khan in 2002 and, since then, the dream has slowly transformed itself into a reality. This amazing journey has only been possible with the support of the Namal Family that spans the world.

2002

The Conception

Mr. Imran Khan conceived the idea of Namal Knowledge City to create a global hub of academic research

2005

Joining Hands

Mr. Imran Khan was offered Chancellorship of the University of Bradford.

2008

The Beginning

Namal College was inaugurated in 2008 after completion of its first building with a covered area of 60,000 sq ft.

2010

Reaching High

Namal started its BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering as a franchise program of the University of Bradford.

2012

We Did It!

First batch of BSc. Computer Science students graduated with a University of Bradford degree.

2013

The Celebration

Namal held its first Convocation event marking the graduation of the first two classes

2014

A Big Leap Forward

Namal acquired 1,000 acres of land to pave way for a vibrant knowledge city of the future

2014

Namal School Established

Namal established its primary school to offer education to children of faculty members and staff

2015

Expanding Outreach

New accommodation facilities were completed in 2015 to provide a healthy community living for all students.

2017

Launch of BBA

Namal signed an MoU with HAS University of Applied Sciences to launch its BBA Program

2017

Namal Time Bank

Namal launched its Time Bank to give students the opportunity to make a sustained change

2019

Growing Steadily

Namal acquired Degree Awarding Institute Status allowing it to offer its own degrees

2019

New Academic Building

New Academic Block was inaugurated by Mr. Imran Khan

2020

Charting the Way Forward

Namal completed development of a beautiful cricket ground and Sir Anwar Pervez Residency
